The heavy-duty Bunkhouse for ¾-ton trucks and properly equipped half-tons — a U-shaped dinette, cassette toilet, LP kitchen, and queen east/west bed in an all-aluminum package.
Meet the BUNKHOUSE 6.5HD
The BUNKHOUSE 6.5HD takes the concept of ultra-lightweight camping to the next level. The interior is surprisingly spacious, featuring a roomy main living area highlighted by a large U-shaped dinette that quickly converts to a secondary sleeping area and houses a built-in cassette toilet; a queen bed in the cabover; an LP furnace; and a kitchen with an LP cooktop, sink, 12V refrigerator, and loads of storage.
The 6.5HD also comes with a 200W roof solar panel, a 100A lithium battery (Bluetooth heated), a MaxxAire fan with rain sensor and remote, an exterior shower connection with hot and cold water, and electric jacks as standard. It is pre-wired for a roof A/C, with popular options including a power awning, roof A/C, additional solar and lithium, a power inverter, microwave, and dually swing-away brackets for trucks with flared wheel wells.
The entire structure of the BUNKHOUSE 6.5HD is wood-free. You will not find wood covered with paneling, or outdated carpet covering steps and transition areas into the bed. Soaring Eagle Campers builds this rugged camper with all-welded, tubular aluminum construction and a fit and finish rarely seen in campers of this size. Both the main floor and the cabover floor are composite, not wood. Rain, water, condensation, or moisture of any kind is often the main cause of the demise of a traditionally constructed camper. Bunkhouse owners have the confidence that their camper will stand the test of time.
